Rubba Oven Fries

INGREDIENTS

3 MEDIUM RUSSET POTATOES, SKIN ON AND SCRUBBED

3 TBSP. VEGETABLE OIL

1/2 TSP. TABLE SALT

1 TBSP. HUBBA RUBBA


DIRECTIONS:PREHEAT OVEN TO 425 DEGREES. CUT EACH POTATO INTO 12 EQUAL SIZE WEDGES. IN A ZIP-TOP BAG OR BOWL TOSS POTATOES WITH OIL. SPREAD POTATOES IN A SINGLE LAYER ON A SHEET PAN (YOU MAY NEED TWO). SPRINKLE POTATOES WITH SALT. PLACE TRAYS IN UPPER HALF OF OVEN FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 MINUTES, OR UNTIL LIGHT BROWN SPOTS APPEAR ON POTATOES. USING A THIN SPATULA, TURN ALL POTATOES OVER AND COOK UNTIL BOTH SIDES ARE GOLDEN BROWN (APPROX. 10-20 MINUTES). IMMEDIATELY SPRINKLE POTATOES WITHHUBBA RUBBAAND TOSS TO COAT. SERVE RIGHT AWAY.
